COME, LET US FOLLOW HIM!”

According to the Epiphany story, the Wise Men followed a bright star to discover the presence of the God made Man. Their long journey was rewarded when they found what they were searching for in the newborn King. It is important to ask ourselves what ‘star’ we follow in our own life. We may discover that too often the star is not Jesus. My experience tells me that His way of dying to self, of letting go of everything unworthy of God, is the right way to walk. But we sometimes find it easier to revert to following our own whims and supposed self-interests. In leading a life of faithful discipleship, how important it is to keep the real ‘star’ of life before our eyes!

God has now revealed Himself to us in His Son. This infant is the Lord of Glory, who holds time and space in His fingertips. “Come, let us follow Him!” God Bless!
